Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has been recalled to the Indian side for the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be held in February-March next year. The southpaw has been named instead of Shubman Gill in the final 15-member squad. Kishan earned his comeback on the basis of a brilliant performance in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26. He left-hander struck two hundreds and two fifties, including a brilliant 101 off 49 balls in the final against Haryana.
