Isaac Cruz vs. Lamont Roach tickets: Cheapest prices, best seats for 2025 Frost Bank Center boxing fight

Lamont Roach was getting ready to face Gervonta Davis in an anticipated rematch. That fight couldn’t come to fruition, and now the WBA super featherweight champion will compete for interim super lightweight gold against former champion Isaac Cruz on December 6.

The fight will emanate from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. 

A 2013 Golden Gloves Champion, Roach (25-1-2) was on a six-fight win streak before facing “Tank” in March. The two fought to a draw in a contest marred by controversy after David dropped to one knee during the fight, but it wasn’t called a knockdown.

Roach went from a potential rematch to Davis fighting Jake Paul. He didn’t want to sit out the rest of 2025 and is ready for the next challenge in Cruz.

“I told everyone what I’m here to do. I want to bring old-school boxing back,” Roach said. "Me accepting this fight with Cruz proves that I’m like that… I love facing his style, because it plays right into my strengths. It’s gonna show on December 6.”

Cruz (28-3-1) beat Rolando Romero in March 2024 to become the WBA super lightweight champion, but he lost the belt a few months later against Jose Valenzuela. “Pitbull” has won two straight since, both fights in 2025.

The Mexican warrior looks to prove that Roach is out of his depth competing at the super lightweight level.

“We’re definitely gonna give him an unfriendly welcome to the 140-pound division,” Cruz said. “I’m experienced in this division, but I’m not overlooking him just because he’s moving up in weight. I’m not gonna underestimate what he can do at this weight class.
