Varesa is a 5-star Electro DPS unit that was released in the Genshin Impact 5.5 update. She is having her first rerun banner during the second half of the Luna III update. She is a versatile Electro DPS unit that can fit into a variety of team compositions. She is also one of the top DPS characters in Genshin Impact, and her pull value increases with supports such as Iansan and Chevreuse.

On that note, this article discusses Varesa's pros and cons in Genshin Impact to decide if you should pull for her or not in the Luna III version.

Should you pull for Varesa in Genshin Impact Luna III?

Varesa has great pull value, as she is one of the top DPS units in the title. She is also a versatile unit that can fit into various team comps. However, similar to most characters in the title, she also has some pros and cons, and her pull value will also depend on some units that you own.

Let's take a look at some pros and cons of pulling Varesa:

Pros

  • Versatile Electro DPS unit that can be used in many teams.
  • She is one of the top DPS units in the title.
  • Easy to build, and with higher investment, such as Signature Weapon, and early constellations, such as her C2, increase her DPS by a significant amount.
  • Can be used with 4-star support units, such as Iansan and Chevreuse.
  • Has great exploration abilities with her Elemental Skill.

Cons

  • Might need Pyro units such as Mavuika or Durin to deal high DPS in most team compositions.
  • Requires constellations for Iansan and Chevreuse to deal high damage.
  • Her signature weapon, Vivid Notions, is significantly better than most of her weapon options, since it buffs the Crit DMG of her Plunging Attacks.

If you are looking for a strong and versatile Electro DPS, then you should consider pulling for Varesa in the Luna III version. However, keep in mind that her damage might be lower without constellations of Iansan and Chevreuse.

Furthermore, if you have Nod-Krai units, it might be better to pull for Columbina in the upcoming Luna IV version, since the latter is rumored to buff the damage of the Nod-Krai DPS units by a considerable margin. If you don't have Flins or Nefer, you can instead pull for Varesa, who is one of the best DPS units in the title.
