UConn Huskies men's basketball fans are a bit worried.
It was an ugly Saturday in the Big East Tournament. St. John's 72, UConn 52 isn't how anyone drew up this stepping stone to March Madness with the NCAA Tournament looming.
The Huskies didn't look like a team ready to make a deep run, but they've proven in recent times that they're capable of that anyway.
Will they get the chance? That's what some fearsome fans are wondering.

Is UConn in or out of March Madness?
UConn is safely in the NCAA Tournament bracket and will play in March Madness.
They didn't earn the Big East's automatic bid by winning the conference tournament, but their full body of work is more than enough.
ESPN's Joe Lunardi, even after the loss, projected UConn as a 2-seed in the field. Even if the committee bumps them down a line or two, there's no danger of missing the tourney altogether.
In his 2-seed projection, Lunardi lines UConn up with 15-seed Queens University in the first round. Queens is a recent move up to Division I from Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Huskies, by that seeding, would still be expected to make a strong run into the second weekend and potentially beyond.
Fans may be worried, but there's nothing to fear here. As long as UConn learns from its conference tournament championship mistakes, some fun in March Madness is still very possible.
