Is the Jessica Chastain Movie ‘Dreams’ Streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

Jessica Chastain and Isaac Hernández are star-crossed lovers in Dreams, the new Mexican drama opening in U.S. theaters this weekend.

Written and directed by acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Michel Franco (After Lucia, New Order, Sundown, Memory), Dreams stars Jessica Chastain as Jennifer McCarthy, a wealthy American socialite who strikes up a secret romantic affair with a young ballet dancer and undocumented Mexican immigrant named Fernando (Isaac Hernández).

The film first premiered over a year ago at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2025, where it was nominated for the festival’s highest honor, the Golden Bear. Now, finally, the film is opening in theaters in the U.S. While it hasn’t been a part of the awards season conversation, fans of Chastain likely won’t want to miss it. But if you’d rather wait to watch the movie at home, instead of seeing it on the big screen, then read on to find out what we know about when and where you’ll be able to watch the Dreams movie on streaming.

Where to watch the Jessica Chastain movie Dreams:

For now, Dreams will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in select theaters in the U.S. on Friday, February 27. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Dreams is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.

Is the Dreams movie streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video?

Dreams is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video right now. While it’s possible Dreams may stream on Netflix or Max someday, it won’t be until after the theatrical run and digital release of the movie. Dreams is not a Netflix original; Dreams is a small, independent film being distributed by Greenwich Entertainment in the U.S.

You will be able to purchase Dreams on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Dreams on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription, because it is not a Prime original movie. If you want to watch Dreams movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms.

When will the Dreams 2026 movie be on digital?

Another Greenwich Entertainment movie, Love Brooklyn, was released was released on digital platforms about six weeks after opening in theaters.
