NLE Choppa released his diss track, KO, on October 30. In it, he claimed that NBA Youngboy is a bad influence on kids and warned him that he is in the "big leagues" now. Part of the song's lyrics read:

“YoungBoy, what? This the big boy league/ I put one up in your gut under the Jesus piece/ Last thing that I heard was ‘Jesus, please’/ Had me looking at the devil like ‘This is your king.'”

In an interview with Rolling Stone, published on November 3, Potts said that the inspiration for the diss track came in his dream. He said:

"What made the time now is a power higher than me. Like I said, when people ask me the reason why now or why in general — this is my fourth time, fifth time-sharing this story, so sometimes it’s not as fresh sharing it — but I was awakened out of my sleep with a vivid dream. "The dream was me holding a young boy’s head in my hand, and I was bringing the head to my father in the dream — my dad. And when I woke up from my sleep, I wanted to pray about the dream, and I started to seek what the dream meant. And going into that space of prayer, I knew it was time," he added.

He also claimed that he has nothing personal with Youngboy, adding that he would even be open to "making music with him personally". However, he added that he cannot do it if Gaulden doesn't.

NBA Youngboy, meanwhile, hasn't responded to the diss track apart from his new track, Zero IQ Freestyle. Meanwhile, he also recently concluded his MASA Tour, with all shows being sold out.
