The Chiefs fell victim to a barrage of Justin Herbert touchdowns, dropping their season-opener to the Chargers in Brazil, 27-21.
While Herbert's exploits and Los Angeles head coach Jim Harbaugh's tactics might have been the primary reasons Kansas City was struck down, other contributing factors exist. Chief among them, at least among certain sections Kansas City's fanbase, was Taylor Swift's absence from the game.
Swift recently took her romance with Kansas City TE Travis Kelce to the next level, accepting his proposal in August. She hasn't yet appeared at one of Kelce's games outfitted in her glitzy engagement ring. Perhaps if she was at the Chiefs' matchup in Sao Paulo, the result could have been a little different.
So, will Swift be in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium for Kansas City's Week 2 game against the Eagles? The Sporting News gives you the run down on Swift's status ahead of the Chiefs' duel with Philly over the weekend.

Is Taylor Swift at the Chiefs vs. Eagles game today?
It's unclear whether Swift will be in attendance for Kansas City's clash with Philadelphia. There's plenty of reason for Swift to seek out such an affair, though. She has yet to appear at one of Kelce's games since the two were engaged during the summer. She also has history with the Eagles; the West Reading, Pennsylvania native supported the franchise in her youth.
