The Golden State Warriors have lost three straight games.
They’ll try to prevent that streak from reaching four against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.
Steph Curry ruled out vs. Timberwolves due to knee injury
Unfortunately for the Warriors, they’ll continue to be without the services of star guard Steph Curry, who has been sidelined since late January with a condition known as “runner’s knee,” or patellofemoral pain syndrome.
Curry has been officially ruled out against Minnesota. It will be the 16th consecutive game missed by the superstar sharpshooter.
When it comes to a potential return to game action, Curry is moving in the right direction and is expected to be re-evaluated late next week. He will continue to miss games in the meantime.
On the season, Curry has appeared in 39 games for the Warriors and posted averages of 27.2 points, 4.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.
The meeting between Golden State and Minnesota will be the fourth and final of the season. The Timberwolves won two of the first three meetings, so the Warriors need a win on Friday night to even the season series.
