Is Quinshon Judkins injured? Browns RB injury news, update not good in Week 12 vs. Raiders

17 minutes ago 1

Quinshon Judkins has been a star in his rookie season for the Cleveland Browns.

He leads rookie running backs in basically everything.

But on Sunday, Judkins had to leave the game.

Is Quinshon Judkins injured?

Yes, at least for now, Judkins is injured.

He got hurt on a strong carry in which he pushed for extra yardage but then was brought down to the ground hard.

It wasn't immediately clear what Judkins hurt, but the first speculation was a head injury. His head slammed into the ground at the end of the run.

This update doesn't sound great:

Judkins headed back onto the field and then was taken out again. A ref stopped the game and Judkins is going back into the medical tent. I believe a unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant also went into the tent. https://t.co/zgvPilB5fc

Judkins' backup is fellow rookie Dylan Sampson. The Browns also have Jerome Ford on their RB depth chart.

This isn't the first time Judkins has dealt with an injury this season, but overall, he's been reliable for Cleveland.

They'd certainly like to not be without him for too long.
