‘Suits’ Alum Gabriel Macht Reveals He and Wife Jacinda Barrett Have Moved Out of the U.S.
No, Meghan Markle is not suiting up for a small screen return.
After rumors began circulating that the Duchess of Sussex will return as Rachel Zane in a possible Suits reunion film, a rep for Markle confirmed to E! News May 11 that there is “no truth” to the chatter.
Despite Markle’s succinct shut down of her return, Suits creator Aaron Korsh had previously teased the possibility of a reunion film with the original cast.
Ahead of the premiere of Suits: LA—which was canceled after one season—in 2024, Korsh told Entertainment Weekly, “I was very satisfied with the way Suits ended, and at some point, we might do a Suits movie, and that could be fun.”
Two years later, nothing has been confirmed, although Korsh did share that it was “not an insane notion for us to someday do that.”
Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be essential for the As Ever founder to participate. After all, Markle stepped away from the legal drama in 2017, shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry.
And while the series—which also starred Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman and Patrick J. Adams—continued on for another season, she emphasized why her early exit made sense for her and her budding family.
“I don’t see it as giving anything up,” the 44-year-old–who shares kids Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 4 with Harry—told the BBC in the couple’s post-engagement interview. “I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right?”
At the same time, Markle alluded to leaving acting altogether.

“I think what’s been really exciting as we talk about the transition out of my career and into my role is the causes that are really important to me,” she said at the time, “that I can focus even more energy on.”
Although she’s since returned to the small screen, including on her show With Love, Meghan, she’s largely kept true to that promise. In addition to her companies and philanthropic work, Meghan has also put quite a bit of energy into her family. Keep reading for a peek into her and Harry’s life together…
