The Los Angeles Lakers enter Sunday trailing 2-1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Timberwolves and Lakers have alternated wins in each of the first three games with Minnesota getting the 116-104 victory in Game 3 on Friday night.
In Game 3, LeBron James had 38 points with 10 rebounds, Austin Reaves totaled 20 points and Lua Doncic had 17 points in the loss. As it turns out, Lakers coach JJ Redick said Doncic was "vomiting all afternoon" going into Game 3, yet he still managed to play 39 minutes.
With that, his status for Game 4 was a bit up in the air.
Is Luka Doncic Playing in Laker-Timberwolves Game 4 After Stomach Illness?
All signs point to yes, barring an unexpected change. Doncic managed to play 39 minutes in Game 3 even with the illness, although there were times when he didn't look like himself.
To make things even more clear, Doncic was not listed on the injury report released by the Lakers on Saturday night. The only name there was Maxi Kleber, who remains out.

After Game 3, Doncic did not speak to the media, presumably due to the stomach issue he was dealing with. If the Lakers star were to miss the game, it would be a massive blow for a team with their backs against the wall.
Game 4 is on Sunday at 12:30 pm PST, and a win would tie the series up at 2-2 as Game 5 will take place in Los Angeles.
