Is LeBron James playing for Lakers tonight vs. Cavaliers?

The Los Angeles Lakers are back in action a day after a commanding 120-101 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday.

The Lakers are set to face the 47-28 Cleveland Cavaliers at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night. Notably, Los Angeles’ 41-year-old star, LeBron James, landed on the Lakers’ injury report hours before the franchise's upcoming clash.

Is LeBron James playing for the Lakers vs. the Cavaliers tonight?

According to the injury report, James is questionable with a left foot injury/injury management. James finished with 21 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds, which was much-needed considering the Lakers were without Luka Doncic (suspended after picking up his 16th technical foul of the season against the Brooklyn Nets last Thursday).

While it’s impossible for the Lakers to secure a top-2 seed in the Western Conference, they’ll likely secure the No. 3 spot if they finish the regular season on a positive note (they’re currently 1.5 games ahead of the Denver Nuggets).

If James is unable to play on Tuesday night, the Lakers will find it more challenging to come out victorious and improve to 50-26 on the year.

Still, with Los Angeles being a lock for the postseason for the fourth consecutive year and playing high-level basketball, there are plenty of reasons for the franchise to be excited about the immediate future.
