After a strong start to the season, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has not been as productive in the second half of the campaign.
Allen scored four touchdowns over his first seven games, but he hasn't found pay dirt since. Adding to that, he finished with just 777 yards, one of the lowest outputs of his career.
Allen is off to a slow start in the wild-card game against the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Keenan Allen playing tonight?
Yes, Allen is active and healthy and he was targeted once over the team's first two drives, he just couldn't reel it in.
The Chargers haven't run many plays over their first two series, so nobody has really had a chance to get going.
We'd like to say better things are ahead for the veteran, but with so many mouths to feed in Los Angeles' offense, that isn't guaranteed.
