Is Joel Embiid playing vs. Knicks tonight? Game status for 76ers star

After a five-game West Coast road trip, the Philadelphia 76ers return home to host the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

It will be the fourth and final game of the regular season between the two teams. The Sixers won the first two meetings, but the Knicks took the most recent one in late January.

Joel Embiid listed as 'questionable' for matchup vs. Knicks 

When it comes to star center Joel Embiid’s status for the contest, we’ll have to wait and see. 

Embiid is listed as "questionable" for the game on the official injury report due to right knee injury management. His final status for the game will be determined prior to tipoff. 

Embiid's missed Philadelphia's 135-118 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night for the same reason. 

On the season, Embiid has appeared in 31 games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 blocks per performance. 

The Sixers (30-23) enter the matchup with the Knicks sitting sixth in the standings in the Eastern Conference, right on the edge of the Play-In line. Meanwhile, the Knicks (34-20) are third in the conference.
