Is Jalen Brunson playing tonight vs. Heat? Knicks star remains sidelined

2 hours ago 3

Jalen Brunson’s stint on the sideline will continue against the Miami Heat on Monday night. The New York Knicks star guard has officially been ruled out of the game against Miami as he continues to recover from a Grade 1 right ankle sprain that he suffered in a game against the Orlando Magic last week.

Jalen Brunson will remain sidelined vs. Miami on Monday night

It will be the second consecutive game that Brunson will miss due to the injury. He was also held out of New York’s 140-132 NBA Cup victory over the Heat on Friday night. Brunson will be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Including the game on Monday night in Miami, the Knicks will play five consecutive road games. After Miami, they’ll travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks, followed by trips to Orlando, Brooklyn and Charlotte. Brunson will probably return to game action at some point during that stretch.

This story will be updated.
