The Spurs and Thunder split the first two games of the Western Conference finals, both of which took place in Oklahoma City.
Now, the series shifts to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4.
De'Aaron Fox 'questionable' for Game 3 vs. Thunder due to right ankle sprain
The Spurs were without the services of star guard De'Aaron Fox for both of the first two games due to a right ankle sprain, and his status for Game 3 remains to be seen.
Fox is currently listed as "questionable" on the official injury report for Game 3 due to the right ankle sprain. His final status will be determined prior to tipoff on Friday night.
After San Antonio's 122-113 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 2, Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said that Fox is trying to play through the injury.
“He's just trying to play every day," Johnson said. "It's a tough injury that he wouldn't be playing with in the regular season, so he's trying to tough it out.”
Fox isn't the only member of San Antonio's backcourt dealing with an injury issue. Rookie guard Dylan Harper exited Game 2 with an adductor injury and didn't return. He's also listed as questionable for Game 3 due to the injury
