Is Anthony Edwards playing tonight in Game 5 vs. Nuggets? Final status for Timberwolves star

The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to close out their first-round series with the Denver Nuggets and advance to the Western Conference semifinals in Game 5 on Monday night. 

Unfortunately, they'll be without their star guard. 

Anthony Edwards out for Game 5 vs. Nuggets due to left knee injury 

Anthony Edwards has been ruled out of Game 5 against Denver due to a knee injury he suffered in Game 4. The injury is expected to keep him sidelined for the foreseeable future. 

In addition to Edwards, the Wolves will also be without starting guard Donte DiVincenzo for the rest of the postseason due to a torn Achilles he suffered in Game 4.
