Insider drops big Broncos injury update on Bo Nix

Denver Broncos quarterback Box Nix saw his season end when he suffered an ankle injury in the divisional round of the playoffs.

With Nix already undergoing surgery to repair his fractured ankle, the Broncos felt confident he would be ready for training camp.

But now, the Denver quarterback has had a clean-up procedure, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but Broncos fans shouldn't stress; it's common for this to happen.

During his scheduled re-check with Dr. Norman Waldrop last week, #Broncos QB Bo Nix had a successful and anticipated follow-up clean-up procedure on his ankle, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

Nix ready for training camp?

Rapoport stated that Nix is firmly on track to be ready for training camp, so the star quarterback will only miss the voluntary portion of the offseason and OTA's.

So, there isn't a lot that he will be missing.

Yes, in an ideal world, having Nix present is what Denver wants, but if it had to choose between him missing OTAs or training camp, we know what it would prefer.

Still, this is now a close watch for the Broncos and their fans, as they hope Nix can put this injury behind him quickly, with 2026 looming as a big one for the AFC West champs.
