Inside Rory McIlroy's lavish $18 million Florida mansion

Professional golfer Rory McIlroy has a lot going on right now. He's currently competing in the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he's also planning a move across the pond with his family.

In April, the 36-year-old Masters champion announced his plans to move to a brand-new home outside of London with his wife, Erica Stoll, 37, and their daughter, Poppy, 4.

In the meantime, McIlroy has been living in a lavish $18 million mansion in Juniper, Florida, which he purchased in 2017.

The home is inside the prestigious, gated Bear's Club Community, which was founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus in 1999. According to Realtor.com, McIlroy purchased the home, which features a recording studio, home theater, tennis court, outdoor kitchen, pool, spa, and guest house, from golfer Ernie Els for $11 million.

The sprawling mansion boasts nine bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms and is situated on 2.4 acres of land.

Several photos on the real estate website revealed the stunning interior of the home.

The living room is decked out with white beams on the ceiling and large windows. It also has a large brick fireplace and modern sconce lighting on the walls.

Over the years, Juniper has become an unofficial hub for many golf pros, including Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Justin Thomas. Within a 15-mile radius of the area, there are more than 65 golf courses, all open to the public, along with several others inside private clubs, per "Golf Digest."
