Colts troll new Jaguars coach Liam Coen in deleted schedule-release video

The NFL’s annual schedule release has become one of the more underrated weeks in sports, with individual team reveal videos becoming more creative every year.

The Indianapolis Colts outdid themselves on Wednesday night, however.

The Colts deleted their 2025 schedule-release video on social media after their vicious troll job on Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill went viral. The team issued a Thursday morning statement apologizing to Hill — who was depicted as a dolphin getting arrested by a Coast Guard in the Minecraft-themed spoof — while clarifying that the video was also taken down because it exceeded the team’s rights with Microsoft.

Hill has since responded to the video, revealing that he thought it was funny and shouldn’t have been taken down. The Colts, of course, were riffing off Miami’s home opener in 2024, when Hill was pulled over and detained by Miami-Dade Police on his way to Hard Rock Stadium to play the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Dolphins will open their season at Indianapolis in Week 1 of the 2025 regular season.

Hill wasn’t the only target of the Colts’ deleted video (which can be viewed in full here). One scene depicted a drunken bachelorette party inside a bus that smashes Titans quarterback Will Levis. Another depicted Patrick Mahomes as a frog, hopping around a boxing ring while his father sparred with John Rocker.

The Colts came after the Jaguars, too, trolling new head coach Liam Coen over his famously failed “Duuval!” rallying cry during his introductory press conference. They used the actual audio from the presser, too, adding to what was a pretty hilarious bit overall.

Coen has been trolled enough by his own fans over that one, so a little ribbing from the rival Colts shouldn’t carry much weight. The Jags had their own viral schedule release video featuring Ashton Hall, and with all due respect to Indy, it was executed with better taste.
