Aaron Rodgers has spent the better part of a decade estranged from his parents, Darla and Ed, and his brothers, Luke and Jordan.
However, the athlete revealed he reunited with Darla, Ed and Luke, sharing an Instagram post in July 2026 featuring himself and his family members.
“Another bonding week. #fam,” Aaron captioned the shots.
Jordan was noticeably absent from the photos.
The longstanding family feud first became public in 2016 while Jordan was on JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
During the show, the television personality confessed that his older brother had removed himself from their family.
When Jordan invited Fletcher — whom he tied the knot with in 2022 — to his hometown dinner, neither Aaron or his then-girlfriend Olivia Munn were there.

The quarterback later claimed that he was not invited to the meal, which took place during football season.
In 2024, Aaron also denied that Munn was involved in his family’s estrangement, despite his dad publicly alluding to it.

Aaron refused to comment on the rift in 2016
In 2016, while Jordan was competing for Fletcher’s heart on the dating show, he told the former real estate developer that he was close with Luke, but that Aaron was estranged from the family.
Luke told Fletcher that the tension was not something the bunch liked to “talk about a whole lot.”
“It pains both of us like, not to have that relationship [with Aaron] — we miss our brother,” he continued. “I trust that God brings things full circle and that everything would just get back to us being a family.”
However, Aaron refused to speak on the situation at the time.
In July 2016, he told ABC’s WISN 12 News, “As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things.”
Eight years later, in his Netflix documentary, “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” the NFL star explained his side of the infamous dinner.
“I was quiet about it because I thought the best way to do it was don’t talk about it publicly,” Aaron shared. “And what did they do? They go on a bulls–t show and leave two empty chairs.”
The empty chairs in question were meant to be for himself and Munn.
“They all agreed, like, this was a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show … But like, a dinner that was during the [NFL] season, that I was never asked to go to, not that I would’ve gone,” Aaron said.
Aaron slams reports that Munn was involved in his family issues
A year after the rift was made public, Ed told The New York Times in 2017 that “fame can change things.”
At the time, Aaron was a quarterback on the Green Bay Packers.
The family’s patriarch also shared with the outlet that Aaron hadn’t spoken to his parents or siblings since 2014 — only a few months after he began dating Munn.
In 2024, Ed blasted the actress to writer Ian O’Connor for “Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers.”
“She said the family was dysfunctional before she met Aaron, which is bull,” Ed exclaimed.
However, Aaron hit back, explaining that Munn had “nothing to do with” his family’s “deep-rooted” issues.
Aaron and Munn split in 2017 after three years together.
Aaron hints at a reconciliation with his parents in 2018
In 2018, the family drama made its way to social media.
Jordan posted a shot of himself and Luke to Instagram, detailing how he has always looked up to his older sibling.
A source close to Aaron told People at the time that leaving out the Super Bowl MVP was “probably intentional,” calling the brothers “passive-aggressive.”
Jordan also blasted Aaron for allegedly not contacting their parents during the California wildfires that year, despite announcing that he was donating $1 million to people impacted.
“When your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe … Everything else just feels like an act,” Jordan wrote on X.
Aaron kept quiet on the accusations, and instead, a month later, revealed he had spent his 35th birthday with his parents.
Aaron opens up about putting the family feud behind him
While on the “Aubrey Marcus Podcast” in 2022, Aaron admitted that he didn’t hold any “bitterness” in his heart toward his family.
“I do believe in healing and I believe in the possibility of reconciliation at some point,” he mused.
“But, it’s a different journey for all of us, and to judge on the outside about what should be or what it should look like, or who’s wrong or who’s right, is just a game I’ve never wanted to play and still don’t want to play.”
Despite his hopeful words, Aaron was absent from Jordan and Fletcher’s wedding that year. Aaron was also missing from Luke’s 2019 wedding to wife Aimee Wathen.
Aaron details the rift in his 2024 Netflix doc
In “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” the football star further detailed what went wrong his his family dynamic.
Aaron admitted he was never “super duper close with everybody in the family,” but was “close” with Jordan.
“In actuality, it goes back to stuff from high school that kind of made me feel distant. Stuff in college, stuff post-college,” Aaron elaborated.
Both Jordan and Aaron played football in college, but the latter was drafted by the NFL in 2005.
Jordan, meanwhile, was released from three NFL teams.
Aaron also confirmed that some of his disagreements with his parents stemmed over religion.
He shared that he “felt like the love that I was modeled growing up, it’s kind of a merit-based spirituality.”
“If you don’t believe you deserve that love, it’s hard for you to give it, and it’s sure as hell hard for you to receive it,” Aaron detailed.
In the three-part series, the Super Bowl winner revealed he had to give himself the “forgiveness” he never got as a child.
“At times when you have some dysfunction or some separation in your family life, you have to kind of reparent yourself and give yourself what you didn’t get or wanted to hear more of when you were a kid,” Aaron explained.
“I think for me, I just wanted to hear, ‘I’m proud of you.'”
Aaron claims he was told to ‘be smaller’ after rising to fame
During the doc, Aaron also addressed his family’s perspective on his rise to fame in the NFL.
“There was a lot of times when I became real famous that I heard from a lot of people — including family members — where it was like, ‘Your life is too big. We need you to be smaller. Be smaller. Don’t talk about your life,’” he recalled.
“That always hurt me because I just feel like you don’t see me.”
Aaron added that he never wanted anything more than to play the game on Sundays.
He noted it “can definitely change the people around your circle because it can be intoxicating, the fame and notoriety.”
“So definitely relationships change after that — friendships, family.”
Aaron addresses ‘bulls–t’ narrative surrounding family fued
In March 2026, the athlete appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and addressed the ongoing issues.
“If you look at the saga with my family, for years it was one-sided,” Aaron expressed. “They were making shots in the media saying bulls–t.”
He added, “I never said anything until it got to the point where I’m like, ‘Alright, enough is enough.’”

Jordan was not spotted in any of the photos.
