All eyes are on Indianapolis on Sunday.
With the backdrop of the Pacers' Eastern Conference Finals game against the Knicks, the Indy 500 will take center stage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
"The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" includes 33 drivers and 200 laps, with storylines abound once again. Rookie Robert Shwartzman claimed pole position, becoming the first rookie to do, while back-to-back defending champion was dropped to the back of the lineup after his car failed inspection due to an illegal modification.
Meanwhile, Pato O'Ward is looking for his first Indy 500 victory after making a push in 2024, and Takuma Sato is aiming for his third Indy 500 win.
