The Jaguars entered the fourth quarter with a 29-10 lead but things quickly took a turn for the worst for Jacksonville. Houston scored 26 unanswered points in the fourth quarter and defeated their AFC South rival 36-29.
During Sunday's loss, Lawrence completed 13 of 23 attempted passes, throwing for 158 passing yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 35 yards and fumbled twice.

Sunday's game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans allowed for a reunion. Marissa Lawrence was able to reunite with former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Chirstian Kirk's wife, Ozzy.
In an Instagram post, Marissa Lawrence shared a carousel of photos from a girl's meetup. It was also an opportunity for her daughter, Shae, to meet Ozzy Kirk's daughter, Londyn.
"With my girls & our girls meeting 😭💕," Marissa Lawrence captioned the Instagram post.Christian Kirk and Trevor Lawrence were Jaguars teammates from 2022 through the 2024 NFL season. In 2022, Kirk was one of Lawrence's top offensive targets, tallying 1,108 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. In March, Chirstian Kirk was traded by the Jacksonville Jaguars to the division rival Houston Texans in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.
