Nick Saban and his wife, Ms. Terry are one of the most notable couples in football. The couple, who have been married for well over five decades, celebrated their anniversary recently. Their daughter, Kristen, shared a carousel of wholesome pictures by the couple through the years in an Instagram post.

She also wrote a touching caption on the post:

“54 years of love, commitment, and being truly blessed. Happy Anniversary to the two who shows us what forever looks like.”

Saban married Ms. Terry, then Terry Constable on Dec. 18, 1971. This was around the time the seven-time national championship-winning coach started his career as assistant coach at Kent State.

She has been a constant feature in the coach's life as he transitioned from program to program. Also, through Saban's NFL stint coaching the Miami Dolphins, Ms. Terry was always by his side.

Their relationship really became celebrated during Nick Saban's glorious and successful Alabama tenure. The 74-year-old drew the curtain on his time at Alabama following the team's unsuccessful 2023 playoff run.

He has since switched to broadcasting as a part of ESPN's College GameDay crew, where he now does pregame analysis. Ms. Terry has made multiple cameo appearances alongside her husband.

Ms. Terry rules out a potential Nick Saban return to coaching

One could say Ms. Terry has been an integral part of Nick Saban's career, to the point where she can confirm or deny potential moves. During the recent college coaching carousel, she quelled a rumor about a potential Saban return to coaching. She said while appearing on College GameDay:

“Look Pat, I have no doubt if Nick wanted to go back to coaching, he could win his eighth national championship. But we’re having too much fun, and we wouldn’t want to take that opportunity away from all of our baby coaches, like Kirby and Lane. I haven’t heard a number yet, Pat.”

Saban confirmed Ms. Terry's point in the most emphatic way, saying:

“Mrs. Always Right has spoken.”

Lane Kiffin, one of the most notable members of the Saban coaching tree was ultimately involved in the most exciting highlight of the coaching carousel. The LSU coach left Ole Miss amid much controversy to join the program's conference rival.

Kiffin joined LSU after leading Ole Miss to an 11-1 finish, taking it to its first playoff berth. The Rebels will face Tulane on Saturday without Kiffin on the sideline.
