Ilia Malinin is going to get a cool opportunity on Tuesday at the Olympics.
He's slated to be on the Today Show, and the Team USA figure skating star won't be alone.
The show is also scheduled to have legendary gymnast Simone Biles make an appearance.

It's not clear from the announcement whether the two Olympians will appear together or just within the same show.
Still, it's really cool for Malinin after a disappointment in the men's individual competition at these Games.
The pre-Olympics favorite for the gold medal, Malinin took a lead from the short program into the free skate, too. But then multiple falls bumped him all the way down to an eighth-place finish.
Biles knows unexpected Olympic disappointment, too, and she proved that a superstar athlete can come back from that four years later and perform to the best of their ability again.
Malinin can certainly take some lessons from that journey.
He seems to have mostly handled this tough moment in his career with composure and class.
Malinin is also sticking around Italy, because he plans to skate in the exhibition gala over the weekend. That's often just for medalists, but evidently the Olympics decided having Malinin in it would be a good idea.
It'll be a while until Malinin gets a chance at total redemption. But one day at a time right now, he's doing what he can to get himself back on track.
