Micah Parsons won't in any way underrate the Carolina Panthers ahead of their crucial Week 9 encounter. The Green Bay Packers welcome the Panthers to Lambeau Field on Sunday, and the star linebacker sees the opponent posing a great challenge in the game.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Parsons made it clear that he doesn't see the Panthers as a “trap game,” despite the tough schedule ahead. Dave Canales’ team currently boasts a 4-4 record, including three wins in their last four games, and will look to stage an upset.
“This team is a very good team,” Parsons said. “I wouldn't consider this a trap game, even with Philly next week. This is just all about us and how we prepare. And just we can't beat ourselves.”•

Micah Parsons comments on winning the NFC Defensive Player of the Month
Micah Parsons was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month on Thursday, recognizing his impact on the Packers’ defense this season. Opening his media availability on Thursday, the linebacker was questioned about his feelings on the early-season achievement
“It's always a great honor to get recognized by your accomplishments,” Parsons said. “But even though you just understand there are more months, more goals, we're working towards something bigger. “So obviously sit back, reflect, appreciate this month about the work from the teammates, everyone who's invested into this. But now it's just like, kind of move on. Now we're in November, and it's like, this is gonna be one of our biggest months in terms of teams, championship caliber, and going to where we wanna go.”Seven games into the season for the Packers, Micah Parsons has recorded 17 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hits and 6.5 sacks. He will look to keep up the momentum in the bid to help the team challenge for the Super Bowl this season.
