Charlie Sheen talked about his close friendship with the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. On Wednesday, Sheen appeared as a guest on the "All The Smoke" podcast, where he discussed steroid use in major leagues and more.
During one segment of the episode, the "Platoon" star recalled an incident that described his obsessive friendship with Michael Jordan. The show's host, Matt Barnes, had asked the actor to reveal details about the start of his friendship with the Bulls legend.
Sheen revealed that he and Jordan had once participated in a short-lived reality TV show that pitted celebrities against athletes in their respective sports. The actor said that he and his father were told to face MJ in a two-on-one action. Jordan had a handicap as he had to shoot his free throws with his eyes closed.

"I got his number after that, and we stayed in touch," Sheen said. "I would fly out to Bulls' home games. So I was kind of stalking him as well, but yeah, then we worked together on a commercial campaign, we did Hannes, we sold underwear together. That was pretty cool." In that interview, MJ refused to acknowledge the win the actor and his father had earned against him.
"The interviewer asked about the game and I'm like 'well yeah, I'm not here to rub it in his face'... and he's like 'no you didn't, no you didn't, uh-uh, you did not'," Sheen said. "I'm like 'I can appreciate that but it's on video', and he was like 'doesn't matter'."Sheen and his father secured their win against the greatest player of all time in 1986 while filming for a show called "War of the Stars".
Charlie Sheen reveals he used Michael Jordan's fast replies as a 'tool'
Later in the episode, Charlie Sheen revealed that Michael Jordan used to reply to him very quickly, and he would use it as a reference against the people who took too long to respond.
"There was a time when I would text him and ths dude would literally respond in like 15 or 20 seconds," he said. "I would it like that's noww the bar, and I would tell my friends like 'Dude, it's been four hours, Michael Jordan responds in 20 seconds.' So it was a valuable tool for me." He revealed that he made eight free throws in a row, but heard Michael Jordan whisper choke under his breath, which made him miss his next shot from the charity line.
