A seven-time WWE champion is fired up heading into 2026. Bayley took to Instagram to issue a statement to kickstart the new year.

The 36-year-old posted a playful video with a caption reflecting on 2025. The Role Model also seemed enthusiastic and determined for the new year.

"2025, I’m sorry. I forgive you. Thank you. I love you. 2026, FIRE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," Bayley wrote.

Bayley is currently in the tag team division alongside Lyra Valkyria on RAW. The unlikely duo seems to be finding its footing on the red brand, but with many formidable teams eyeing the Women's Tag Team Championship, it remains to be seen if the former Hugger and the Irish star will be able to get to the top.

The Role Model is a seven-time champion in the global juggernaut, having won the WWE Women's Championship, SmackDown Women's Championship, and Women's Tag Team Championship twice each, and the NXT Women's Championship once.

Bayley had an underwhelming 2025 in WWE

Despite her impressive resume, Bayley couldn't find a solid creative direction in 2025. She missed WrestleMania 41 due to Becky Lynch, failed to win the Women's Intercontinental Championship despite several attempts, and just when she was establishing her new split personality character, it was dropped abruptly.

The Role Model has never shied away from putting others over and helping the younger talent, a quality that has been appreciated by many of her peers. However, it is safe to say the former Hugger has a lot more in the tank as a top WWE Superstar.

Hopefully, in 2026, Bayley regains her place at the top of the women's division. Her dynamic with Valkyria may not have been fruitful thus far, but it seems to have a lot of potential, something the Triple H-led creative team must explore this year.
