Becky Lynch has been proving to be one of the greatest heel characters that the WWE Universe has ever seen, and things are just getting better. Not only on WWE TV, but the star has been making headlines by staying in her gimmick everywhere she goes, despite the incredible popularity she has.
During the recent edition of the Busted Open Radio, the winners of the Busties were revealed and honoured. Former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch won the award for being the most ‘hated’ star of 2025.
In an interview with Lynch following the win, the star crashed out, stating that WWE analyst Sam Roberts was not supposed to be there. Further, the Man also demanded an apology from everyone, saying that she was insulted.
“This is rigged. These awards are rigged. I was told that there was no way that Sam Roberts was going to be here. My lawyer made sure that Sam Roberts wasn't going to be here. Why is Sam Roberts here?...A horrendous plaque. This is disgusting. Disgusting. Did you see the other trophies? I won so many trophies. You insult me. I am insulted. I'm outraged. I actually may take over the channel X 24/7 and actually it will get bad with a lot of cursing. So maybe I'm going to take over your show and I'll do a good job of it too. I demand an apology otherwise this interview is over…” she said.Further, addressing the fact that she tapped out at Survivor Series, the star took a shot at John Cena, stating that she doesn't tap out like the Franchise Player.
"...For saying that I tapped spreading misinformation because I did not tap. It's clear as day I did not tap. I was waving everybody over. I'm not John Cena. I do not give up. I never give up."What's next for Becky Lynch ahead of WWE Royal Rumble?
WWE has not been taking over the Becky Lynch vs AJ Lee saga just yet, possibly waiting to make it happen at WrestleMania. While Royal Rumble could also be a great stage to kick off their feud, the company could use the Women’s Royal Rumble match to add heart between both stars ahead of the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Considering the current situation, it doesn’t seem like Lynch is returning to the title picture anytime soon. Time will tell what the company has in store for the star next.
