Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, recently shared what she’s been up to with her Eat Learn Play organization. In an Instagram post, she highlighted a meeting with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and received a lot of love from fans who couldn’t stop gushing over her new look.

In her caption, Ayesha explained that at the Sohn San Francisco Investment Conference, their goal was to make a positive impact on society.

“This week, I was honored to join San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie on stage at the Sohn San Francisco Investment Conference on behalf of @eatlearnplay. Together, we discussed how action across sectors and communities can create lasting change for children and families.”

Fans erupted with reactions, praising Ayesha for her leadership and new hairstyle. Julius Randle’s wife, Kendra Shaw, also joined in to compliment Ayesha’s new look.

Ayesha Curry received backlash for comments regarding Steph Curry

Steph and Ayesha Curry have long been seen as one of the NBA’s most admired power couples. Fans have adored their love story for years, but before the start of the 2025–2026 NBA season, that perception shifted slightly.

During a recent podcast appearance, Ayesha candidly opened up about her life and marriage to Steph.

“So I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married,” Curry answered. “I thought I was going to be ‘career girl’ and that’s it. It happened so early in my life. After we got married, we found out we were pregnant with our daughters so quickly, I didn't even have time to think about what I wanted anymore.” “It's so interesting. I spent my entire life trying to work towards something, and then it kind of just disappeared and I didn't think twice about it.”

Fans did not receive these comments well. A majority felt Ayesha Curry's words showed a lack of appreciation for her husband and their family, accusing her of not being a supportive partner. Since then, Ayesha has faced heavy criticism online, with many of her Instagram posts still being flooded with negative comments from naysayers calling her out for being a bad wife or questioning her love for Steph.
