A major WWE name has called out dangerous wrestling following a spot at AEW Worlds End last night. Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, defeated Kyle Fletcher in the Continental Classic tournament during the event last night.
During the match between Moxley and Fletcher, the former WWE star hit a dangerous move off the top rope. Fletcher came close to landing on his head, and the reactions to the move have been mixed so far. Some fans enjoyed the spot, while others felt it was too dangerous.
William Regal spent some time in All Elite Wrestling and was the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club alongside Jon Moxley for a bit. The veteran has since returned to WWE, and he took to social media to seemingly react to the controversial spot. Regal noted that today's performers needed to protect themselves more because their in-ring careers will not last forever.
"The vast majority of fans don’t know the difference between a vertical suplex and a brainbuster and that’s a far tamer move than many I see now. I’m 57 and become less relevant every day but fame has never been my thing so most of you doing this STUPID stuff are not going to listen to me but hopefully a few do. Stop it now if you want a decent quality of life after Wrestling because that part of your life will be over before you know it and wrestling done right is hard enough but broken necks or death are not something you should think is tough or cool. It’s idiotic thinking," said Regal.Jon Moxley went on to defeat Kazuchika Okada to win the Continental Classic tournament at AEW Worlds End.

"Actually, a tour through Germany was originally planned and they wanted to look at talent everywhere in Germany and then Mr. William Regal said, we'll take this guy, cancel the tour, we don't need anyone else. It's either him or no one at all. And then they called me and said, listen, you don't need to do a tryout. Which is a huge, a huge exception. I don't know of anyone else where that was the case," said Kaiser.Mr William Regal made the call that Ludwig Kaiser didn't even need a tryout before he was signed by WWE: "During my time at wXw, the contact to WWE was built. I dismissed my very first tryout (offer), which I got only three years in. Fit Finlay contacted me, because my father
It will be fascinating to see what AEW has planned for Jon Moxley following his impressive showing at Worlds End 2025.
