Huge announcement on WWE veteran's son's immediate future

Popular AEW star Hook will soon make a major appearance outside the company. He is the son of ECW original and former WWE star Tazz.

The young rookie made a name for himself with his unique in-ring style. The second-generation star recently joins the Opps under the leadership of Samoa Joe. Other faction members include Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs. In fact, the group played a major role in Joe's win against "Hangman" Adam Page for the World title.

This week, Limitless Wrestling confirmed that Hook will make his debut for the promotion at the Limitless Rumble. The event will take place at the historic Colisée in Lewiston, Maine, on January 16, 2026. The Limitless Rumble match The Limitless Rumble is one of the marquee attractions for the promotion, and Hook's addition will make it a must-see. Interestingly, this announcement marks Hook's first match outside the company banner. AEW World Champion MJF is also scheduled for the event, defending his title against Alec Price.

Hook will be in action next week on AEW Dynamite

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be a stacked show, with multiple high-stakes matches already confirmed for the show. Fans will see a huge Lights Out match featuring some of the biggest stars the company has to offer.

The chaos began during this week on the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite. The new champion, MJF, was trying to celebrate his world title victory. The segment quickly broke down as several potential challengers confronted the champ, creating tension across the ring. Amid the chaos, a major match was set when "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland were challenged by The Opps. Former champion Joe played a key role in escalating the situation, calling out Page and Strickland.

This led to a huge Lights Out Match featuring Page and Strickland teaming up against Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs of the Opps.
