Tonight, CJ Stroud’s Houston Texans will head to meet “America’s Team” on the latter’s home turf at AT&T Stadium, but Houston won’t have to defend against a Dak Prescott-led offense. Why? He’s out for the season after suffering a hamstring injury in a loss to the Falcons in Week 9.
Instead, the Dallas offense will be headed up by backup QB Cooper Rush, who led the team to a 34-6 clobbering last week against Philadelphia. Not only that, but tonight kicks off a grueling few weeks for Dallas, with 3 games in 11 days. Oof.
On the bright side for Dallas fans? Houston is coming off of two straight Prime Time losses (to the Jets and the Lions, respectively), and may be feeling demoralized.
