What is Eurovision?
Eurovision is an annual songwriting contest organized by the European Broadcasting Union. At the time of its creation, it was meant to bring a war-torn Europe back together through music. Now, nearly 70 years later, it is one of the most beloved events across the continent.
Many Eurovision winners have gone on to achieve international success, including Celine Dion, who represented Switzerland in 1988, Italy's Maneskin in 2021, and of course, ABBA in 1974.
A panel of music industry experts, along with live viewer votes, will decide the winner of the competition.
