The seventh World Cup event of the FIS Alpine Skiing season will take place this weekend in Semmering, Austria.
Mikaela Shiffrin impressed at Semmering in 2022, where she won her first World Cup of the season after winning two Grand Slalom races. However, she is unlikely to participate this time due to injuries she suffered in November which will see her return in 2025.
However, some of the top athletes will feature at Semmering Hirschenkogel as it hosts the Giant Slalom and Slalom race on December 28 and December 29.
