This week in GTA Online (November 6 - 12, 2025), Rockstar Games is ending the Halloween event and bringing back regular weekly updates. This week, they are bringing back the Cayo Perico Motor Wars minigame. It is an Adversary Mode that you can start from the menus. It will offer 2x cash and RP during this week, making it a lucrative way to make money.

Here is a simple guide on how to start and play the Cayo Perico Motor Wars in GTA Online.

First, you need to start the Cayo Perico Motor Wars from the menus themselves. Once you are in a GTA Online lobby, you can pause the game and head to the "Online" tab. There, you must select "Jobs", then "Rockstar Created" jobs. After that, you will find "Adversary Mode" at the end of the list, where you will find the returning game mode. Besides the display picture, 2x RP and GTA$ will be shown since it is currently featured in this week's update.

2) Setup and start Cayo Perico Motor Wars

Once you start the job, you will be taken to a mission setup screen where you can invite your friends or other players. A minimum of four players is required to start the Motor Wars, and a maximum of 28 players can join the game.

When the game begins, either two or four teams can be formed, with each team equally divided. These teams will drop on Cayo Perico Island, where several guns and armored military vehicles will be scattered across the map. The main game is to be the last man/team standing. Players can collect as much artillery as possible and destroy other teams.

In standard Battle Royale fashion, there will be a zone that keeps shrinking at regular intervals, forcing players to come closer and fight more intensely.

Each match can either be long and tactical or short and chaotic, which makes this game a lot of fun.
