To energize the event, Adam Silver has decided on a U.S. versus World tournament for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.

Prior to that, All-Star Saturday Night will feature entertainment fans will enjoy.

The dunk contest has been lacking lately, and the participants don't quite generate much excitement.

The State Farm 3-Point Contest includes five talented 2026 NBA All-Stars: Devin Booker, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, and Norman Powell. This year’s event is more competitive with the debut appearances of Kon Knueppel, Maxey, Murray, and Bobby Portis.

In the Shooting Stars contest, four teams, each with three players—comprising NBA athletes and legends—compete in a shooting challenge. These teams are linked through the NBA, schools, and family connections.

Below is an overview of the main All-Star events and the participants involved.

It’s also notable to see two former winners competing again, including Booker, the 2018 champion, and two-time titleholder Damian Lillard, victorious in 2023 and 2024. Lillard has an opportunity to tie the record of three titles, held by legends Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.

This year’s event is further exciting with four debutants: Kon Knueppel, Maxey, Murray, and Bobby Portis.
