How to get Vaporeon in Pokemon Unite

Vaporeon in Pokemon Unite has been introduced, adding another entry to the Eevee family to the title’s roster. As a Defender, this Water-type revolves around disruption and tanky frontline play. Vaporeon also leans on ranged Special-based moves, giving it a consistent way to make impact in play. Although marked as intermediate difficulty, its kit is approachable once you learn the flow of its abilities.

Steps to unlock Vaporeon in Pokemon Unite

Vaporeon in Pokemon Unite is not owned through the usual shop purchase. Instead, it’s tied to a limited-time event called Vaporeon’s Refracted Melody Challenge, available until December 16, 2025. Once the event ends, it will be available in store.

The event plays out like a board game where you progress from rolling dice and completing mini-tasks. As you progress you earn Refracted Melody Coins. To claim Vaporeon’s Unite License, you will need to collect 1,000 Refracted Melody Coins.

How the event works:

1) Daily Dice Login: Log in each day to earn a single event die. You can only hold one daily die at once, so use it before the next reset or it disappears.

2) Rolling the Die: Use your die to advance across the event board. Don’t like your roll? You can spend Aeos Coins to reroll it, with up to five rerolls allowed per die.

3) Tile missions: Landing on a tile triggers a small challenge, this can range from winning a couple of matches to using a specific Pokemon (like Glaceon). Finish the task to roll again, or bypass it by spending 5 Aeos Gems.

4) Refracted Melody rewards: Completing an entire board awards Refracted Melody Coins:

• 90% chance to receive 100 Coins
• 10% chance to receive 150 Coins

5) Lucky squares: Certain tiles automatically boost you forward by one to three spaces, giving you faster progress.

6) Bonus Dice sources: Throughout the event, you can earn up to 10 extra dice via the Support Log-In Bonus and the Coin Collection Challenge, helping speed up your board completions.

Checkered Style: Vaporeon Pokemon Unite Holowear

Once Vaporeon in Pokemon Unite is unlocked, you can grab the Checkered Style: Vaporeon Holowear, which has been included to celebrate the Pokemon's debut. This Holowear is available directly from the in-game store.

Here’s how to find it:

1. Open the Shop from the main screen.
2. Select the Holowear category on the left side.
3. Look for Checkered Style: Vaporeon in the preview section.
4. The outfit costs 890 Aeos Gems, but you must own Vaporeon’s Unite License before purchasing it.
