How to get Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Unlocking Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile in Pokemon Legends Z-A requires you to first progress through the main storyline and then explore some particular Wild Zones. The entire evolutionary line of this fierce Gen V critter boasts a dual Ground and Dark typing that makes it an excellent pick to counter certain popular Pokemon.

This article explains where you can find Sandile or Krokorok in Pokemon Legends Z-A and how they can be evolved into the powerful Krookodile.

Where to find Sandile in Pokemon Legends Z-A?

Here's where you can find Sandile in Legends Z-A:

• Wild Zone 8: You can easily catch a Sandile inside Wild Zone 8, which is located in Jaune District in the northeast area of Lumiose City. Simply roam through the dirt and sand patches inside the Wild Zone to encounter it.

You should note that you must have completed the Main Mission 9: Chase That Mysterious Pokemon to gain access to Wild Zone 8. As such, it isn't possible to obtain this Ground and Dark-type critter earlier.

Moreover, you can also find an Alpha Sandile inside this Wild Zone, so do be on the lookout for it.

How to get Krokorok and Krookodile in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Krokorok and Krookodile are the evolved forms of Sandile and are quite powerful as attackers. Let's take a look at how you can acquire both within the game:

Krokorok

Krokorok evolves from Sandile at Level 29. As such, to obtain it, simply provide EXP to your Pokemon and raise its level until evolution is triggered.

Alternatively, you can also catch a wild Krokorok inside Wild Zone 8, where you find Sandile. Moreover, its Alpha variant can also be encountered here.

Krookodile

You can get your own Krookodile by simply evolving Krokorok at Level 40 in Pokemon Legends Z-A. While this is the simplest method to get this monster within the game, it isn't the only one.

The title also lets you catch Krookodile in the wild at the following location:

• Wild Zone 20: You can catch Krookodile as well as an Alpha Krookodile inside Wild Zone 20. However, since the final versions of various Pokemon spawn here, you may need to fast-travel back and forth to this location a few times before you find it.

Do note that Wild Zone 20 unlocks quite late in the title after completing Main Mission 38: The Future of Lumiose City, and the Pokemon encountered here, like Malamar and Gengar, are quite powerful. As such, it can be a wise decision to save your game before challenging Krookodile once you find it.
