- At least two players must be in the session
- The lobby must be around 60 minutes old
- Free roam must remain active the whole time
If you jump into a fresh session and start searching right away, the truck won’t be there. The key is patience. Stay in the same session and let the timer run. Invite-only sessions work fine, as long as you invite at least one other player and don’t change sessions.
Where the Happy Holidays Hauler starts and travels
Once the Happy Holidays Hauler in GTA Online Christmas event 2025 spawns, the truck usually begins near Legion Square in Los Santos. From there, it follows a large loop around the map. Common areas it passes through include:
- The Diamond Casino area
- Sandy Shores
- Paleto Bay
- Port Zancudo
- Del Perro Beach

Over the full run, you’ll usually see around 20 drops total, making it a solid way to earn easy rewards with almost no effort.

Once active, the Happy Holidays Hauler stays in the session for about 60 minutes before disappearing automatically. Even if players try to block or trap it, the timer still applies.
Players attempts to destroy or stop the truck to farm dropping faster. You can slow it down, but you cannot keep it permanently, and it will still despawn once the timer ends.
