Guide

1) Wear the required gear

As evident from the mission objective, you are tasked with wearing specific gear before you head out to eliminate Scavs in the game. This includes wearing a Respirator of some kind. It could either be the generic Respirator, a GP-5 gas mask, or even the GP-7 gas mask.

Acquire one of these masks and proceed to equip it. Once done, head to the designated area.

2) Head to the mission location and eliminate Scavs

Once you have worn a Respirator, you are ready for your mission. Infiltrate the Interchange map, and here, you have to locate and eliminate a total of 40 Scavs.

You need to be in close proximity to them. You have to ensure that each time you locate a Scav, you're at least 60 meters or closer to them before you kill them.

Repeat this process until you eliminate 40 Scavs from less than 60 meters in Escape from Tarkov. Once you've done that, you can extract and turn over the Decontamination Service quest in Escape from Tarkov to the Therapist.
