Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign is the second mission in the game's story. After getting exposed to the toxin in the first mission, Exposure, David Mason and his team must uncover the secrets inside the recovered drive and investigate the toxin spreading in Avalon. The mission should take players approximately 15-30 minutes to finish.

This article will provide a complete walkthrough of the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Inside mission in Black Ops 7: Step-by-step walkthrough

As the mission starts, you get a cutscene where Mason discusses the plan with Marshall. It is revealed that the team was hit by the toxin; however, members have recovered from its effects since.

Mason then gets orders to investigate the toxin in Avalon and figure out The Guild's plans. Karma is deployed to meet you on the battleground. Here are your objectives as the gameplay begins.

Meet up with Karma

Karma gets to Avalon, but this alarms the Guild's forces. She moves to the Grotto under Cliff Town. You must fight your way through the streets of Avalon to get to her location.

Start by moving forward and getting off the hill you spawn on top of. Your next objective point will be approximately 105m away from you on the main stretch of road. As soon as you get down, your squad will face the threat of several enemy soldiers as well as drones. Keep an eye out for the drones and shoot them down every time you notice.

Keep moving forward on this main stretch of the road. The Guild will deploy more defensive units via a VTOL. Destroy them, and then your objective marker will take you to the West as Karma reaches the underground Grotto. You will find scores of enemy soldiers in this region as you shoot your way through in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign. Wipe them all out and reach the cable that goes underground into the Grotto in the Northwest direction in Cliff Town.

Descend via the cable, and you will meet Karma, finishing your first objective in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Claim upgrades

Access the Guild's weapons cache

Loot the area for ammo and other valuables as Karma works on the laptop. Next, speak to her to push the mission forward. Karma lets Mason and the team know that the toxin has not been identified and there are no known cures for its effects. She also relays to you that the insider who had intel on the Guild's plans has gone dark, and now you must find him. To do so, Mason and team must retrieve one of the many biometric chips the Guild uses on its staff to track their movements.

Once the cutscene ends, your next task is to locate and access the Guild's weapons cache. Karma marks it as your objective on the map, and it is located approximately 305 meters away from your location in the Grotto.

The weapons cache is located in the South. Move towards this direction and ascend via a cable or use the stairs upwards. Once you reach the surface, you will be faced with three to four soldiers and a drone. Destroy them and continue Southwards during the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

You will see a massive, broken footbridge. On top of the bridge, an enemy soldier will be ready for you, so keep an eye out while approaching it. This is where the weapons cache is located. When you kill the soldier, a VTOL will descend and unleash some of the Guild's robots on you. Other soldiers will also attack you from the back. Destroy them all and loot the weapons cache in the Inside mission on the Black Ops 7 campaign.

Access biometric data

Collect The Guild's biometric data from Karma

Karma tells you that there is some activity at the Water Treatment Plant, approximately 300 meters away from you in the Southeastern direction. From the bridge, you will be able to see the location quite easily.

On the main road right below the bridge, a ton of the Guild's soldiers will shoot at you. Use your sniper rifle or a weapon of your choice to defeat them. You can also distract and hurt them with a turret and simply run away by taking the dirt path on the left.

Run straight towards your objective, the Water Treatment Plant. Once you enter the plant's perimeter, more soldiers will greet you with bullets. They will be hidden behind objects, so make sure you remain sharp with your aim. Reach the objective, a water treatment tank, and climb upwards.

Defeat soldiers, and scan the cadaver inside the body bag in this location. This will help you get closer to finishing your objective in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign. Next, move Northwest for your next body, defeat three soldiers guarding the body, and you will find the cadaver you need on the road inside a body bag. Scan it to finish the objective.

Hold out while Karma finds a target

After scanning the two bodies in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign, you will be attacked by several enemy soldiers. During this time, your sole objective is to survive until Karma gives you further directions and objectives to move on to.

A VTOL will deploy a few of the Guild's specialized units, and you must defeat them. You can use your sniper rifle to deal maximum damage. Karma will then find you your final target, which will also be located inside the Water Treatment Plant in the South of your location.

Collect final biometric data

Head towards the final target in the south. A drone and some soldiers will attack you, so you should feel free to use your turret or other devices to defeat them quickly.

The last cadaver is located inside a white truck. Go behind it and scan the body bag inside to finish this objective in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Locate supply cache

Claim mobility gear inside the cache

After you are done uploading the biometric data from all the bodies, you will receive a supply cache approximately 40 meters away in the East. Simply run up the treatment tank and claim your gear.

The cache will grant you the Kinetic Jump ability. To use it, you can hold the jump button to gain extreme verticality, allowing you to scale large areas easily. When you land from a very high jump, enemies around your landing zone will be stunned.

After collecting the ability, you can move on to your next objective in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Track the Insider's signal

Karma manages to find the Insider's signal thanks to all the biochips scanned by you. You will also be able to use your wingsuit ability at this point in the game. Use it to get closer to the enemy VTOL, which will arrive in the Southern direction from your location.

The VTOL will be heavily guarded, so destroy all the enemies you see around it. There will be numerous weapons caches around it, so you can access all the loot from them before jumping on top of the vehicle. This will allow you greater firepower in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Once you're on top of the VTOL, Karma will begin hacking it.

Ride the VTOL

You can get a heavy weapon, the A.R.C. MI, from the weapons caches around. Once you hop onto the VTOL, you must protect it as it flies away. This is crucial as it will allow Karma to hack it.

Find the Insider

Regroup outside the Shipyard

You can use the launcher to defeat enemies on the rooftops and the ground as Karma flies the VTOL for you while tracking the Insider's signal. After taking enough damage, the vehicle will begin to fall. Use your Wingsuit to make it to the ground alive. The Insider's signal will be tracked to the Shipyard in your West. Move towards this location to regroup with your teammates.

Secure the container

At this point in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign, Karma will confirm the Insider's signal in a cutscene. Unfortunately, the signal can be tracked to a shipping container, which could indicate that the Insider is dead. David Mason gets some odd flashbacks at this point, but brushes them aside quickly.

Your objective gets updated as the scene ends. You must get to the container approximately 400 meters away in the Southwest. Move down the single stretch of road that leads you to your location. Multiple enemies will attempt to shoot you in this zone; take them out as you move forward.

You will pass by a gas station with multiple enemies scattered in different locations. Here, you will also notice a white container with the Guild's logo on it. Inside it are many of the Guild's robots, so be wary of them as it opens. Take down the mechanical enemies and continue running to your objective marker.

Once you get close to the container, the Guild will drop a Rhino on you. Use all means necessary to destroy it quickly. This will finally allow you access to the container in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign.

Securing the container will be your last objective in the Inside mission in Black Ops 7 campaign. David Mason and the team open it to find the informant seemingly only barely alive. However, the landscape changes as Mason hears Frank Woods' voice. This will lead them to their third mission, Distortion in Black Ops 7.
