Patriots Quarterback Drake Maye's Wife Responds to Gisele Bündchen Comparisons
The Seattle Seahawks have reestablished their dynasty.
After the Patriots and Seahawks faced off during Super Bowl LX Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., the Seattle team have achieved their second Super Bowl win in history.
"It's a dream come true," Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker said in a post-game interview. "A lot of people play their whole career and never make it this far."
Meanwhile, cornerback Devon Witherspoon called the win a truly "wonderful" feeling and joked, "I'm gonna have a drink or two or maybe three, who knows?"
For quarterback Sam Darnold, who nabbed his first Super Bowl win after eight years in the league, called the win "unbelieveable."
"Just everything that's happened in my career but to do it with this team, I wouldn't want it any other way," Sam said in a post-gam interview. "I'm so proud of our guys."
And considering Sam was passed from team-to-team over the years, he was especially floored to experience this huge moment. "All of teammates, all my coaches I've ever had, always believing in me," he added. "I've always believed in myself because of my family and my friends. It's as simple as that."
Seattle’s Super Bowl win marks the first time the team will take home the Lombardi Trophy since 2014, when they beat the Denver Broncos 43-8. The win is also a long awaited comeback after the team’s loss to the Patriots in the 2015 Super Bowl, which was the last time the Washington-based team made it to the NFL championship game.
In the days leading up to the big game, stars had wagered their bets on what team would come out on top. For Boston natives Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, the Patriots even getting to the Super Bowl has been a victory in and of itself.
As Ben said during a Jan. 15 appearance on the Casuals with Katie Nolan podcast alongside Matt, “It's, like, a miracle.”
But while Kendall Jenner also placed her bets with the Patriots as part of her Fanatics Sportsbook campaign, even the team’s legendary former quarterback Tom Brady couldn’t say with confidence that they’d win.

“Who’s gonna win? I don’t know,” the sports analyst admitted when Kendall FaceTimed him into her Jan. 28 appearance on The Tonight Show. “The Seattle defense, they’re like, all time.”
The former MVP also emphasized his former team’s comeback season.
“They led the league with an 8.9 yards per attempt,” he added. “I’ve always said it’s one of the most efficient ways to identify the league’s offensive scheme.”
Meanwhile, even before the Seahawks solidified their spot in the big game, Seattle native Chris Pratt predicted his hometown team would go all the way.
When asked if Seattle would go all the way during a Jan. 20 Good Morning America appearance, Chris said, “I think so.”
As he said ahead of the final playoff game, “I’m really hoping that we show up and Seattle goes all the way.”
