How tall is Kaylee Hartung? NBC broadcaster pales in comparison to NFL stars

While many tend to overlook the impact of an NFL sideline reporter, the role provides viewers with a more personal look at some of the game’s biggest stars. Whether before or after games, players often connect with the sideline reporter, offering insight into the night’s matchup or reflecting on past storylines the reporter raises.

Kaylee Hartung is an American sports broadcaster who has worked with CBS News, ESPN, CNN, ABC News and NBC Sports. She currently serves as a sideline reporter for Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” broadcast, a role she has held since July 2022.

After joining Amazon’s broadcast, Hartung also inked deals with NBC Sports for its NFL Wild Card Weekend coverage in 2023 and later joined NBC’s playoff coverage full time beginning in 2024.

When watching Hartung on the sideline, it is easy to notice she is not among the tallest sideline reporters in the league. In fact, some visuals from her interviews have gone viral, as many NFL players tower over her.

Here is more on Hartung’s height.

How tall is Kaylee Hartung?

Hartung is 5-2. This measurement is likely without shoes on, because while NFL players tend to tower over her, it isn't to the extreme as you would expect if she were standing flat-footed next to players consistently taller than six feet.

Here is Hartung talking to Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. He is listed at 6-1 and appears about a head taller than the reporter.

Los Angeles QB Justin Herbert is listed at 6-6 by the team, and absolutely towers over Hartung.

Hartung and former Los Angels Rams offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth made a social media post of the two talking eye-to-eye. Hartung is shown to be standing and talking, while the 6-7 Whitworth and has legs spread out so that he can be lower to the ground.

Here is Hartung next to the 6-2 Derrick Henry. Similar to Williams, Hartung appears to only come up to the Baltimore Ravens running back shoulder.
