Pink and Husband Carey Hart Break Up After 20 Years of Marriage
Pink may have been teasing a new family portrait.
Before the “Just Like a Pill” singer and Carey Hart's split after two decades of marriage was confirmed by multiple outlets, it’s possible Pink actually hinted about their breakup at the end of 2025.
In a Dec. 31 Instagram post, the 46-year-old—who shares kids Willow, 14, and Jameson, 9, with the former motorcycle racer, 50—reflected on the past year, writing that she was spending New Year’s Eve alone in the hospital awaiting neck surgery, all while her family was away snowboarding.
“I am so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse,” Pink wrote. “I am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025. This year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.”
And the “Raise a Glass” singer went on to note that her year was marked by several relationship changes. As she put it, “I said goodbye to incredibly important people and I said hello to new ones. I’ve realized dreams this year, as well as nightmares.”
The Grammy winner continued, “I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made.”
“I choose joy and I leave behind the hurt,” she added. “I’m going to choose positive thoughts over negative ones. And I’m going to rage against the dying of the light. I’m going to reclaim my wild. And I’m going to keep searching for the light, even as I experience the darkness.”

This isn’t the first time Pink and Carey—who tied the knot in Costa Rica in January 2006 after first crossing paths at the X Games and 2001—have called it quits.
The start of their marriage had its difficulties as well, as Pink and Carey announced they were separating in 2008 before rekindling their romance the following year.
"People are always like, 'Why did you get back together?'" Pink told Redbook in 2013 about their first breakup. "Well, we weren't done. And now we have Willow, so we'll never be done."
