Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may already be married technically, but their big wedding celebration is Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
And the guest list is big time. It's such a major occasion that there are non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) involved, along with fancy invitations that prevent information being given away.
It's a high-tech, high-intensity operation, and it's hard to blame Swift and Kelce for that.
At this point, they're about as big a power couple as there is. Swift is a pop superstar, and Kelce is an NFL legend.
They took some extra precautions for this wedding.
How do NDAs, invitations work for Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding?
The first step is the watermarks on the invitations.
Essentially, each invite was personalized, so if someone leaked information via an invitation, they'd be able to trace who did it, according to Variety.
There's also liability involved if info is leaked, the Variety article adds, but no one would reveal how much they'd be financially liable for if they did leak anything. Apparently, the setup has worked.
"Witnessing the Swift-Kelce nuptials is not without its risks," Variety writes. "Official digital invites all contained watermarks with guest names and came bundled with NDAs. While sources would not name the dollar amount parties would be liable for if the wedding details leaked, here’s some perspective: for a simple appearance like presenting at an award show, stars like Beyonce have been known to attach $1 million in penalties to their NDAs if their attendance is revealed beforehand. And that’s for showing up at a red carpet, not for a watershed celebrity wedding that threatens to overshadow America’s 250th birthday on July 4."
Eventually, the Swift-Kelce celebration will probably make the public rounds. But they've done everything they can to keep certain things under wraps.
