Josh Allen has made a significant impact on the field for his team on offense. Now, according to new reports, the Buffalo Bills are looking to get him more help to become a contender for the playoffs.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Bills recently hosted veteran linebacker Matthew Judon. They intend to bring him in to bolster the defensive backfield. Sean McDermott's defense is ranked No.12 in 2025 in terms of total defense, averaging 312.6 yards while allowing 39 touchdowns.
"The #Bills hosted veteran edge Matthew Judon today and they intend to sign him to their practice squad, per The Insider. Potential help for the playoff push from the former Dolphin," Rapoport tweeted.•

Fans on social media shared their thoughts on the Bills potentially signing Matthew Judon, who the Dolphins waived last Wednesday.
"How much help does Josh Allen need??" one fna commented.how much help does josh allen need ??
@RapSheet Bills signing Matthew Judon to the practice squad like “yeah we’ll take your ex-Patriot problem child.” Man’s about to terrorize playoffs on a budget 😂
@RapSheet Judon visiting and heading to Bills PS?? Bro went from Falcons drama to Dolphin meme to Buffalo savior. AFC East recycling program in full effect.
@RapSheet Judon on a practice squad is INSANE. He was elite like a season ago.
@RapSheet Thats a great pickup from the bills, he can still produce on defense if needed
@RapSheet @TomPelissero He hasn’t been very good but the bill are playing a rookie 2nd round pick DT at edge because of all the injuries sustained on their DLine. It’s a low bar to clear for him to be an upgrade as a 4th edge rusher.
Judon played in 13 games for the Dolphins this season. He recorded 19 total tackles and 13 quarterback hits.
Ex-NFL star J.J. Watt believes Bills defensive problems have resulted in Josh Allen going Superman mode
Josh Allen has been going all out on the field for the Bills this season. In 14 games, the quarterback has tallied 3,276 yards and 25 TDs passing while rushing for 535 yards and 12 TDs.
On Wednesday, on the "Pat McAfee" show, retired NFL star J.J. Watt highlighted how Josh Allen has had to compensate for the team's poor defensive performance.
"I think the defense is the question (for the Bills)," Watt said. "I think on offense, I think their tight ends are such a massive key. ... I don think there is enough on the offensive side of the ball, because Josh is Josh. The defense is where you start to wonder and question about it. "But like you said, Superman is Superman."Last week against the Patriots, Josh Allen completed 19 of 28 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns to lead his team to a 35-31 victory.
The Bills next face the Browns on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
