Nate Bargatze‘s massive September is far from over.
After a successful hosting stint at the 2025 Emmys — where he reprised his popular, recurring “Washington’s Dream” “SNL” sketch and divided audiences with a monologue joke — the folksy stand-up comic is Big Apple-bound.
On Sept. 26-27, the 46-year-old will headline not one, not two but three (!) shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden as part of his ongoing ‘Big Dumb Eyes Tour’ that was recently extended.
The likely family-friendly performances take place:
If you’d like to be there, inexpensive last-minute tickets are available for all three gigs.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one Bargatze MSG show was $42 including fees on Vivid Seats.
He’ll be joined by comedian Julian McCullough, his dad and…”Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon.
“You’d do like 20 minutes,” Bargatze told Fallon back in May on his late night program. “Fine, I’ll do it,” the “SNL” alum agreed.
Following these Manhattan sets, the Nashville native will make a number of additional New York and New Jersey stops.
His first gig back in the Tri-State goes down at Rochester’s Blue Cross Arena on Oct. 2. Then, the stand-up hits Albany’s MVP Arena on May 15, 2026, Syracuse’s Oncenter War Memorial Arena on May 17, 2026, Buffalo’s Keybank Center on Aug. 15, 2026, Belmont Park’s UBS Arena on Aug. 7, 2026 and Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Aug. 8, 2026.
In total, Bargatze has over 100 shows booked from now until August 2026.
We talked to the funnyman ahead of this run back in summer ’24 when he was workshopping material for his next hour he’s running these days.
“The fun part is when you get done taping, you’re like ‘Oh my God, what else is there to talk about’ but then you find stuff and get laughs on new jokes,” he told us in an exclusive interview. “I have one I like about DoorDash that I came up with right after the special.”

Nate Bargatze 2025 Emmys monologue
To kick off the evening, Bargatze delivered a four-minute set complete with a joke about his surprise that he was asked to host and the aforementioned divisive gag where he said he would donate $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Club but had plans to dock $1,000 every time award winners went a second over their allotted 45-second acceptance speech time.

Nateland Podcast
If Nate is your cup of tea, you may enjoy his Nateland Podcast he co-hosts with touring comics Brian Bates, Aaron Weber, and Dusty Slay.
However, with nearly 270 episodes online, it may seem daunting to jump in.
Bargatze assured us that’s simply not the case.
“We have a couple Best Of podcasts and we always tell people to go to that.”
