How many Super Bowls have the Broncos won? History of Denver's big game appearances

1 hour ago 2

The Denver Broncos were founded as an AFL franchise ahead of the 1960 season, before merging with the NFL nearly 10 years later.

In their 65 years as an organization, the Broncos have been to eight Super Bowls, winning three of them. Denver's most recent Super Bowl win came following the 2015 season and saw them beat the Carolina Panthers. It was a historic game and the final time that Hall-of-Fame quarterback Peyton Manning took the field.

Since that game, Denver has suffered a Super Bowl drought. The Broncos went eight years without even making the playoffs. Denver is still searching for its first trip back to the Super Bowl since winning Super Bowl 50.

Here is more on the history of the Broncos' Super Bowl wins.
