Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark made her long-awaited national team debut on Wednesday.
Clark has joined Team USA for its slate of five FIBA Women's World Cup qualifying games in Puerto Rico. After missing all but 13 games in the 2025 WNBA season due to a number of injuries, many wondered if Clark -- coming off the bench -- would be rusty in her first game since July 2025.
The short answer is "no."

She knocked down her first 3-pointer with 1:15 to go in the quarter, getting a kind bounce in off the rim for her first points with the national team.
After she checked back in, Clark drilled another 3 midway through the second quarter, and she set up Atlanta Dream star Rhyne Howard for a couple threes late in the half. She ended the half already flirting with a double-double: eight points and eight assists in only 10 minutes.
Caitlin Clark highlights vs Senegal
They say a deep three for Clark is like a lay-up for most other players. Hard to disagree based on this shot.
